I'm Michael Pesce. I design brand systems, and then I make sure they survive the real world. A logo is only as good as how it looks on a truck door, a dive boat, arena signage, or a frosted window. For over 25 years I've built identities for local businesses and national names, and seen them all the way through production.
Living Ocean Tours
A full hull wrap for the dive boat Coral Kai, operated by Living Ocean Tours. Custom tribal-style honu, dolphins, and fish schools run from deep ocean blue at the bow into a sunrise at the stern, ending with the Hawaiian island chain. The graphics had to read from shore and hold up to salt and sun.

Hawaiʻi Commercial Fleet
Wraps for local Oʻahu businesses, from food vans to service vans to two Cybertrucks. Each one started with the owner's brand and the vehicle's body lines, which matter a lot on a Cybertruck's flat panels and hard angles.

Eldredge Lumber & Hardware
One wordmark applied to every place a Maine lumber yard shows up: truck doors and tailgates in full color and one color, etched-look window lettering, entry doors, parking signs, and sponsored signage that still appears behind WGME 13's weather deck.

Monks Esports Lounge
A branded room for Saint Joseph's College of Maine's esports program: full window wraps, door graphics, vinyl wall lettering, and an edge-lit metal logo. The team mark had to work huge on glass and small on a door.

Maine Red Claws
Season graphics for the Boston Celtics' NBA G League affiliate: locker room decals, event banners, the 2019–20 schedule, and printed hardwood plaques for the Unum Home Court Heroes program. Team colors held exactly across vinyl, fabric, board, and wood.

Tour Drumheads
Bass drum heads for touring drummers, designed, printed, & mounted by MCP Customs for Sic Skinz Custom Drum Wraps. Disturbed's Asylum heads for Mike Wengren, Megadeth's radiation heads for Shawn Drover, Shinedown's circus heads for Barry Kerch, and Tommy Lee's kanji heads. The art has to read from the back of an arena under stage light.

A beverage cart for Baxter Brewing Co. wrapped on every panel, and a full set of interior signs for Waterboro Market & Café: a hometown mural, food counter panels, cooler headers, and a curved barrel-style Beer Cave sign.

Kottonmouth Kings · Bicycle drum kitLou Dog, drummer for the Kottonmouth Kings, builds drum kits out of bicycles, and some of them you can actually ride. For this Monster Energy build, every tom head is a photoreal can top with the green Monster tab, the shells carry the claw mark, and a strip of the can's ingredient list wraps each rim. Under stage light the kick glows green.

AmsterdamOne detailed painted still life, cropped into a set of circular heads so each drum carries its own vignette of the scene, with the museum's name on the kick.

About
I started MCP Customs over 25 years ago and ran it as the designer, the production department, and the person who had to stand behind the result. I've never had the luxury of handing a file off and hoping. If the color was wrong, the type was too small, or the art wouldn't hold up at scale, it came back to me.
I work fast, I work inside brand guidelines without needing to be policed, and I deliver files that are actually finished. The work has ranged from a Maine lumber yard to touring rock drummers to wrap shops in Hawaiʻi. Different audiences, same standard.
